The Role:
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to step up into a senior role but finding progression limited where you are? This is your chance to make a significant impact and advance your career in a management position. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the commercial function on a variety of exciting projects, ensuring cost efficiency and financial control from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cost Management: Oversee and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost reporting.
* Contract Management: Administer and negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
* Valuation and Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate valuations, financial statements, and final accounts.
* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate commercial risks, providing strategic advice to the project team.
* Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and resolving any commercial issues.
* Team Leadership: Mentor and develop junior members of the team, fostering a supportive and high-performance culture.

About You:
* Experience: Minimum 5 years in Quantity Surveying, with a track record of managing projects in construction.
* Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management. Professional membership (RICS or similar) is desirable.
* Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proficient in cost control and financial reporting.
* Ambition: Ready to take on more responsibility and make a mark in a senior role.
