Are you a seasoned Project Manager with experience in Delegated Authority programmes?

We are currently working with a prestigious Lloyd’s Managing Agency to recruit an experienced Project Manager to lead a crucial Delegated Authority Programme . This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of the London insurance market, where you’ll play a key role in managing and improving processes that drive operational excellence and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage a portfolio of projects within the Delegated Authority programme, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, third-party service providers, and Lloyd’s syndicates to ensure alignment of project objectives.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to post-implementation support.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking milestones, risks, and dependencies.
  • Identify and manage project risks, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Lloyd’s market regulations and internal governance.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices within the Delegated Authority space.


Key Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the Lloyd’s of London market or the broader insurance sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Delegated Authority arrangements, including coverholder management, binder operations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMP).
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams, balancing competing priorities while maintaining a focus on delivery.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to drive change and improvements.


Desirable:


  • Experience with Delegated Authority platforms and systems.
  • Lloyd's market qualifications (e.g., CII, ACII) or similar relevant certifications.
