A little bit about what we are looking for:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to assist the Senior Fire Improvement Works (FIW) Project Manager in overseeing the delivery of both active and passive fire improvement works, as identified through Fire Risk Assessments across all my clients properties. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with statutory duties, regulations, and policies.

Your responsibilities
Customer Service Excellence: Represent my client by delivering exceptional customer service, managing complaints, and ensuring a positive experience for all residents within the relevant service areas.
Collaborative Working: Partner effectively with the Building Services, Health and Safety, and Housing teams to address issues that arise during project delivery.
Inspection and Specification: Assist in the inspection of my clients properties to scope and specify fire improvement works in alignment with block fire risk assessments, Fire Safety Standards, and framework contracts.
Project Monitoring: Continuously monitor and inspect fire improvement works, ensuring they meet the specified standards, use certified materials, and are completed to a high quality.
Health and Safety Compliance: Conduct Health and Safety checks during site inspections to ensure that both statutory and my clients requirements are upheld by contractor operatives and work practices.
Fire Remediation Support: Provide support to the Fire Remediation Team in inspecting and coordinating fire remediation projects when required.
Post-Work Inspections: Carry out post-work inspections to facilitate the handover of completed projects for monthly valuations.
Financial Management: Review and authorise work variations within your delegated authority, or escalate them to the Senior FIW Project Manager. Maintain meticulous records of all variations on the Keystone Planned Maintenance module, ensuring value for money through effective financial control.
Keystone Maintenance: Ensure that the Keystone Planned Maintenance module is actively used for the management and tracking of all fire improvement works, and update it following the completion of each project.
Contractor Collaboration: Work closely with my clients Housing's fire works and maintenance contractors to develop and deliver high-quality services.Title: Fire Project Surveyor
