The Opportunity

Are you looking for a career which is rewarding, at the cutting edge of project development and where you can really make a difference? Come and join our expanding Sizewell C team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy.

Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C, the Sizewell C Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

We're on the lookout for dynamic and driven Project Managers to lead groundbreaking engineering projects and drive the delivery of critical contracts. You’ll be at the forefront, overseeing essential engineering workstreams, procurement, and manufacturing, ensuring successful project execution and pushing the boundaries of innovation.

The Role

You'll focus on one of our key project areas. Whether it's advancing the Mechanical, Electrical, and HVAC (MEH) delivery model for Sizewell C, leading a £100 million program in the Nuclear Island, or developing strategies for Civil Works worth up to £50 million, you’ll be an essential player in ensuring these large-scale operations run smoothly, on time, and on budget. You could also take charge of the Conventional Island and Balance of Plant program, managing contracts worth up to £100 million, all while securing resources that meet our business and technical needs.

This is your opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, drafting high-stakes contracts, managing interfaces, and integrating vital design changes. You’ll engage early with suppliers, mitigate risks, and ensure that our lessons from previous projects are captured and applied. You’ll be pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of contracts, managing costs, risks, and schedules with finesse, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

With our flexible, hybrid working model, you’ll enjoy the balance of working between our offices and from home, supported by a full suite of IT equipment to ensure you’re set up for success.

What you’ll bring

If you have a background in mechanical, electrical, systems, or civil engineering for large industrial projects, coupled with a talent for managing complex, multidisciplinary projects, this is your chance to make a real impact. We're looking for individuals who can expertly navigate the intricacies of engineering design, procurement, and contract management, while also communicating effectively with both clients and contractors.

A career with us means embracing challenges head-on and driving forward the future of sustainable energy. If you bring experience in the nuclear industry, have a Chartered Engineer qualification, or hold formal project management certification, you're already one step ahead. But more importantly, if you’re passionate, ambitious, and ready to lead, we want to hear from you.

Join us and become a leader in transforming the future of nuclear power

If the above sounds like you, then we’d love to hear from you
