Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students? We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team at a mainstream secondary school in Guildford.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and interactive English lessons to students of varying abilities (Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5)
Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to promote student engagement and achievement
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing effective strategies for improvement
Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver an inspiring curriculum that aligns with national standards and the school's objectives
Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a positive and collaborative learning community
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Degree in English or a related field
Proven experience teaching English at secondary level, preferably within a mainstream school
Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Understanding and knowledge of the UK national curriculum and assessment frameworks
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop a love for English and achieve their academic goals
A commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with the latest educational practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
