Job Purposen· To lead and support the design and manufacturing engineering tasks across multiple projects, from concept phase through to physical delivery of components, assemblies and tooling. To ensure delivery is to specification, within time, cost and quality constraints.

Key Responsibilitiesn· Engineeringno Ensure designs and manufacturing schemes meet performance and quality requirements, and statutory regulationsno Continuous improvement in the efficiency and accuracy for the flow of manufacturing information.no To provide method/process information to all manufacturing areas of the businessno Technical supervision within projectsno Shop Floor Liaisonno To integrate with the company’s ERP system as required for each project.no Specify proprietary componentsno Compile and control Bills of Materials

· Projectno Own and coordinate projects from estimating to part manufactureno Ensure customer scope and requirements are documented, and change managedno Establish project plan and manage technical deliveryno Liaise with customer representatives to enable efficient transfer of data, and to ensure designs and manufacturing schemes meet the customer’s expectationsno Communicate with suppliers and compile specifications, to ensure subsequent manufacture is in accordance with design intentno Communicate with customers regarding product technical support

· Leadershipno Oversight of junior team members workno Mentoring and development of junior team membersno Develop the company’s engineering systems and procedures

· Company Supportno Support shop floor staff as required to ensure manufacture in compliance with design intent, and by the most efficient methodsno Fully comply with Company Policies including Health and Safety at all times

Essential Requirementsn· Ability to provide manufacturing intent to the shop floor teamn· Minimum 5 years in a similar rolen· Customer facing experiencen· Proficient IT/computer capabilities and competent user of standard packagesn· Highly organised and process-oriented, with a logical approachn· Work accurately, with good attention to detailn· Comfortable working to time constraintsn· Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and listeningn· Self-motivated and confident
