Arlington Moore is working on behalf of a successful company based in the Hull area who are looking to appoint an Electronics Repair Technician.
The Electronics Technician will be tasked with analysing, troubleshooting and resolving issues with products that require repair, service and maintenance.
We are looking for an Electronic Technician who can perform structured fault finding, strip down and reassemble complex electro-mechanical assemblies, aided by the relevant product drawings and circuit diagrams.
Previous electronic or electrical experience together with the ability to use hand tools and being able to solder would be beneficial, as well as being able to follow often complex assembly drawings.
Responsibilities of the Electronic Technician
* Analysing, troubleshooting and repairing customer returns.
* Mechanically dis-assemble items and then reassemble using standard operating procedures and/or assembly drawings
* Aligning components to ensure that the product meets specification
* Testing a variety of products using a range of different test equipment
* Running multiple tasks/projects in parallel
Key skills required of the Electronics Technician
* We are looking for someone with the following but their ability and willingness to learn is just as important
* The role would suit an individual who is involved in electronic / electrical repair in any industry
* The ability to analyse information both creatively and practically to diagnose electronic problems and find optimum solutions
* Maintain a true quality focus
* The ability to make effective decisions under pressure and work to deadlines
* Ideally knowledge of testing and repairing to electronic systems to component level
