Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a local authority in Leicestershire, for a Financial Advisor to join their team.
Job Description
Require innovative and dynamic individuals with a working knowledge of school's financial management system, for example SIMS FMS, ACCESS.
A clear understanding of school financial management processes,
An enthusiasm and passion to enable schools to understand school budgets.
Meet statutory requirements and provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Flexible working hours full time, part time, term time.
The successful candidates must have a 'can do' attitude, an ability to work on their own supporting several different school-based staff and to be an integrated member of the School Financial Advisor Team.
Postholder may be required to attend training, seminars, and conference in line with their role and carry our necessary training courses.
Due to the nature of the role successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS. Qualifications
Finance qualifications equivalent to NVQ Level 4 Experience
Demonstrate bookkeeping/accounting experience.
Experience of working in school office using SIMS accounting
Experience of working spreadsheets
Evidence of current working knowledge of computing and operating accounting packages
Knowledge of school or County Council budgets and accounting procedures.
