We are seeking a motivated and experienced Band 7 Rotational Wards Pharmacist to join a dynamic pharmacy team in East London. Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist – Band 7
Location: London
Duration: 6 months minimum
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 9am – 5pm, 30-minute break.
Start Date: October/November 2024
End Date: Ongoing
Rate of pay: £28– 33ph depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients across various wards.
Participate in clinical ward rounds, providing expert medication advice to healthcare teams.
Conduct medication reviews, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines.
Support the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
Provide education and training to pharmacy and healthcare staff.
Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
Participate in quality improvement projects and contribute to audit activities.
Support the supervision and training of junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Requirements and qualifications required for this role:
Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting, preferably within an acute care environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
Postgraduate clinical diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a rotational pharmacist role.
Knowledge of NHS policies and procedures.
