We are looking for a Mobile Seed Plant Operator to join the AGS team, based at Honingham, on a permanent, full-time basis.

You will be responsible driving to farms and processing farm saved seed, checking quality of the seed, taking samples and maintaining mobile machinery always ensuring the site/machinery is clean and tidy and health and safety processes are always adhered to.

About You

  • Agricultural, engineering or grain handling experience would be an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right candidate including, PA1 & PA11.

Your Role Will Involve

As a Mobile Seed Plant Operator your role will involve:

  • Running the mobile seed plant to clean and treat various products
  • Servicing the mobile seed plant to the required standards
  • Leading support staff whilst operating on the customer’s premises
  • Assisting the Site Manager to carry out regular safety checks
  • Organising the loading of chemical and bag requirements on to vehicles, as per customer orders
