With increasing numbers of road users of all shapes and sizes, road safety is extremely important for everyone. For businesses who operate on the roads, it is essential to ensure that fleet vehicles, their drivers and the public are kept safe.
Our client is a market leader in the installation and repair of vehicle safety systems, encompassing highly sophisticated hardware and software products. They have enjoyed an extended period of growth which, with increasing development and applications for their products and the impending Direct Vision Standard 2024 rulings, is set to continue
As a Software Developer your main responsibility will be to improve customer experience and interactions through the design and implementation of various software development processes. Working with a variety of technologies and languages, this position will suit an experienced and versatile developer who is able to pick up projects on the go and work independently with little support to meet deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A Computer Science/Software Engineer/Developer degree or equivalent training
* 5/6 years’ experience developing Windows Apps/Server (frontend and backend)
* Experience with languages such as C#/Typescript/Node.js/PHP/React/Python
* Experience with Cloud Server migration (AWS)
Experience with DevOps, cloud architecture and continuous development as well as experience modernising legacy technology is highly desirable.
In return, our client will give you the opportunity to support and develop bespoke architecture for the company as it grows. This role can offer largely remote working conditions.
