IT Procurement Category Manager

Overview:
A global FM & Food services brand is looking to hire an experienced IT Category Manager who will be integral to shaping the trajectory of the brand. As the IT Category Manager, you will be at the core of the indirect procurement strategy, concentrating specifically on Systems & Technology
Your responsibilities will go beyond mere category management – they involve pioneering approaches and enhancing the brands footprint throughout UK & Ireland.
The company offers an attractive flexible working model but you must be within a commutable distance to London or Salford.
What the role involves:
Develop and lead on category sourcing strategies across.nManage Information Services & Technology categories, driving efficiency.nCollaborate with global buying teams to align and implement global category strategies.nBuild strong relationships with key stakeholders.nManagement of projects and initiatives.nMaintain a focus on mitigation.
The person we hope to find:
Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in contract negotiation.nMinimum of 5 years of experience in category management.nCIPS qualification or working towards.nFlexibility for international travel where required; fluency in European languages is desirable but not essential.
Salary & Benefits:
