Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist
We're working closely with the Northwest's largest charity who provide care for adults with learning disabilities, complex needs, and mental health related issues. They are currently looking to hire a Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead the on-going delivery of high-quality complex care and development of expert clinical practice within their Community Complex Care Team.
Duties include:
* Ensuring applicable clinical standards are met in an efficient and patient focused manner, managing the general standards of infection prevention and control in accordance with company.
* To contribute to the achievement of the company strategy and objectives by providing clinical and practical advice and support to the business to develop new business opportunities in both existing and new business sectors, participating in presentations, tenders and business proposals as required.
* Have responsibility for the company's clinical governance obligations, managing the undertaking of regular clinical quality audits and responding to and ensuring learning takes place with regard to incidents that impact on quality, developing solutions to alleviate risks and managing strategies to address non-compliance.
* To provide key oversight of clinical risk management and care delivery processes and represent the organisation in a clinical capacity in the management of complaints, serious incidents, local adult safeguarding procedures and undertake clinical investigations where delegated.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, healthcare professionals, commissioners, and community partners to deliver outstanding care and support and enhance independence for the people we support.
Experience:
* Min. of 5 years nursing experience.
* 2+ years management experience in a clinical leadership role.
* Valid NMC registration issued with a current PIN number.
* Professional and recognised nursing qual.
* Relevant complex care training.
Important info:
* £51,223 per annum
* 35 Hours per week
* Matched employer/employee pension contributions
* 38 days annual leave (including BH) - option to buy or sell annual leave.
* Northwest based
