Driver Hire Southampton are recruiting for Class 2 Dustcart drivers to work for a client based in the Southampton area. This position is a 6-month contract starting immediately with the potential of going full time for the right candidate within this period.

About this Class 2 Dustcart position:

  • 6-month temporary position starting immediately
  • Monday to Friday
  • 5:30am-6:30am start time
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Driving a Class 2 vehicle
  • Collecting bin bags and placing them into dustcart vehicle

Requirements from you as a HGV Driver:

  • Full UK driving licence which includes a Class 2 (Cat c)
  • Own transport to commute to and from work is essential
  • A valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
  • Happy to heavy lift
  • Newly qualified drivers welcome
  • Understand manual handling and heavy lifting procedures
  • Great time keeping skills
  • Ensure all tacho hours are recorded correctly
