Job description: Due to continued growth, Designspace London are seeking a talented retail kitchen sales designer to work from our busy Wigmore Street showroom. We are looking for a proactive individual who is comfortable in a customer facing environment with excellent communication skills. You must also be highly self-motivated, have a passion for design and an in-depth knowledge of the industry. A proven track record of design and sales in the high-end kitchen industry is also essential. You will be based in our stunning showroom allowing you to benefit from quality walk-in leads as well as assisting our repeat clients. Full training and ongoing design support are provided to ensure that every designer achieves maximum success. The ideal candidate will have the following requirements: ·     At least 3 years of experience in the high-end kitchen sector. ·     A flair for design and the ability to communicate your ideas. ·     Exceptional IT skills including experience with Word and Excel. ·     Experience in CAD software – Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Compusoft, Sketchup or similar. ·     A natural ability to sell the design concept to the client to achieve and exceed sales targets. ·     A desire for continuous personal and professional development. ·     Impeccable planning and organisational skills. ·     Great administration skills and an excellent approach to customer service. ·     Comfortable working on your own and in a small team. Remuneration will be a competitive basic salary calculated on experience combined with an industry-leading commission package that rewards hard work and is completely uncapped. The candidate will be expected to work an average of two Saturdays a month with a day in lieu of their choosing.
