I am currently recruiting for a Temporary Works Design Engineer to work for one of the leading Temporary Work - Scaffold Design companies in the UK. Salary up to £60,000 + Benefits depending on skills and experience.
The organisation has been in operation for over 39 years and are one of the leading Construction companies in the UK. They have over 10 offices employing some of the best Structural, Temporary and Scaffold Design Engineers across the UK.
To support the ongoing growth of the business and to help support the huge project they're currently doing they now have the need to appoint a Temporary Works Engineer on a permanent basis who can assist with the Designs in their Bridgewater office.
Within this role as a Temporary Works Design Engineer, you will be required to produce Design calculations as well as improving the design briefs in order to meet specific client needs to ensure all safety regulations are met. In addition to this you will be required to Design Temporary Roofs / Walls and be confident in understanding weather loads as well as being able to Design Lifting Beams.
Ideal Requirements:
5 Years Temporary Works Experience
To be able to produce lifting beam Designs
Be confident in using AutoCAD (other CAD packages are also fine)
Report writing skillsDesirable:
Temporary Roofs & Walls Design calculations
