Job Description: The company I am working with are seeking a talented Structural Technician with proficiency in Revit to join the team. As a Structural Technician, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with the engineering team to produce detailed drawings, models, and documentation for various projects. Their expertise in Revit will be instrumental in streamlining the design process and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in structural designs.
Responsibilities:
Generates accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using Revit software.
Collaborates with engineers to develop structural designs and solutions.
Prepares detailed drawings and documentation for construction projects.
Assists in the coordination of project requirements with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Ensures compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Participates in project meetings and provides technical support as needed.
Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality in design processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field preferred.
Proven experience as a Structural Technician or similar role.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit software is essential.
Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
Familiarity with other design software such as AutoCAD is a plus.
