Head of Compliance

Rutherford is currently partnered with a successful hedge fund that are looking to hire a 'Head of Compliance'. The role will lead all global compliance matters, including coverage across US, APAC and EMEA. The firm are currently c.$3bn AUM and London headquartered.


Responsibilities:

  • Be the point of contact for all compliance related questions from the business and investment teams.
  • Review and develop the global compliance monitoring program and make enhancements where appropriate
  • Advise senior management and business heads on relevant regulatory change matters.
  • Conduct compliance monitoring and complete regulatory fillings.
  • Manage external relationships including regulators, vendors and consultants.
  • Develop training for investment teams and wider stakeholders.


Requirements

  • 7 - 12+ years of experience, ideally within a hedge fund or alternative investment fund.
  • Expert knowledge of AIFMD and MIFID
