Using an integrated IT system as the key enabler, you will be introducing electronic health records, electronic prescribing and administration of medicines, and other streams of work that will enable the organisation to work in a more flexible way and will introduce direct improvements to patient care.
The Transformation through Technology (T3) Programme is in it’s second year with the core system built and testing under way and the programme moving to the next stage of developing plans for deployment.
This will probably have been within the NHS but, for the right candidate who can demonstrate leadership of real change, we would be prepared to appoint without health experience. We would also welcome candidates from an operational NHS background looking to further their senior career within the NHS.
