This role is perfect for someone with military experience, particularly in equipment platforms and logistics, looking to leverage their skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficient Goods Delivery: Ensure the timely and precise delivery and collection of goods using a company vehicle, meeting the high standards required by MoD and defence customers.
  • Customer Feedback Management: Act as the frontline for customer interactions, reporting and addressing feedback and concerns promptly.
  • Documentation: Complete all necessary documentation in line with company procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the company vehicle in top condition, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to maintenance schedules.
  • Safe Handling and Driving: Load goods safely, drive responsibly, and adhere strictly to Health & Safety, Environmental, and Company Policies.
  • Professional Customer Service: Represent the company with a positive attitude, providing top-tier service and effectively handling customer queries.
  • MoD Base Visits: Regularly visit military bases across Wiltshire and the West Country, strengthening the connection between our client and their customers.

Requirements
  • Driving Expertise: Must hold a valid full driving license with a strong understanding of motor vehicle maintenance.
  • Military Background: Ideal candidates will have prior military experience, particularly with equipment platforms and logistics protocols, making them well-suited to the role.
  • Logistics Experience: Essential for managing the complexities of this role, including attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and across the wider organisation.
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility: Due to the nature of the job, flexibility in timekeeping is crucial.
  • QHSE Knowledge: Awareness of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation is essential.

Benefits
Hours of work 08:00 to 16.30 Mon to Friday with ½ hour lunch.
25 days holiday plus BH.
Two weeks paid leave for Reservists to attend yearly training/camp.
Life Cover - 3 x base salary
Pension - Employer 3% and Employee 5%, employer contribution rising to 5% after 12months in role.
