Slough Borough Council are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Category Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing procurement guidance and support across Council departments, reviewing procurement business cases, and developing annual procurement plans across all departments.
Conduct gap analysis in relation to the new Procurement Act
Agree in terms of Council policy a minimum of 2 days in the office
Provide guidance and support to Council departments on procurement matters
Review procurement business cases to ensure they meet Council requirements
Develop annual procurement plans across all departments
Proven experience as a Procurement Category Manager
Excellent knowledge of procurement regulations and legislation
