If you are an experienced school SENCO, who is available immediately or from September 2024 and able to travel to Birmingham, West Midlands we would be keen to speak with you. We are a locally based, family run recruitment business specialising in Education. With over 13 years’ worth of experience supporting education settings and candidates across primary, secondary and SEND divisions, Education Experts provide you with a personal service like no other. We have a vested interest in providing support to our West Midlands based schools and education professionals. This school-based, non-teaching SENCO job can be offered either on a part time or full-time basis depending on your personal working requirements. A temporary job to begin with, you will have the opportunity to apply on a more permanent basis later in the academic year. We gain official salary information from each setting to ensure you are paid to scale from day one and in line with your responsibilities (MPS/UPS plus a TLR). We are happy to receive applications from SENCO’s who have worked in any type of education setting. We are fully committed to safeguarding all children within our schools. In order to be successfully shortlisted in any of your applications with us we will require the following:
A relevant UK based NASENCO qualification.
Substantial experience working within an education setting.
All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to a valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS.
Exceptional references.
Once shortlisted, a one-to-one interview will be scheduled with your dedicated consultant to discuss your SENCO experience and personal requirements. You will be provided with advice and guidance in relation to your requirements that respect your home and work life balance. You will work solely with your consultant throughout your registration journey and beyond, always having direct access to speak with them on a one-to-one basis.
Proposed start date: Immediate start/May half term (or September 2024)
Salary: £175 to £280 per day
