As a Veovo Technical Consultant, you will be passionate about technology and how it can be utilised to deliver value-based outcomes for innovative airports globally. You will foster collaboration between Veovo and our airport subject matter experts, and across the wider airport stakeholder environment.
Our team deploys and supports Veovo solutions across a diverse range of Airports in either traditional waterfall or modern agile environments. Performing a broad range of activity, you will enable a methodical approach to problem definition and resolution.
Primarily you will capture and understand airport requirements through workshop and observational sessions, and build, configure, and integrate Veovo to achieve brilliant quantifiable results. To provide the best customer experience you will also be key in ongoing relationship building and the support of implemented Veovo solutions, providing thought leadership and enabling expert technical delivery across our team.
Our solutions are built in a range of modern technologies that you will utilise in your analysis, implementation and customer success responsibilities.
We are a tight-knit team and we will encourage you to be an active participant in all respects of our operation. You will undertake specific Market, Product and Technology training to enable you to hit the ground running, and this process will be supported by your team and Manager on an ongoing basis.
As this is a customer-centric airport technology role, and our business is within the global airport market, a reasonable level of travel is required.
You will be involved in :
- Analyse customer or new product requirements and specification writing
- Lead and enable the successful value outcomes of Veovo product implementations
- Provide customer training
- Programming of software modifications and development of deployment-specific integration and configuration
- Technical documentation of deployed solutions and user documentation
- Provides key input and oversight of software and process Quality Assurance
- Provide formal code review and guide our technical team to prescribed best practise
- Provide 24 hour on-call problem resolution support (Rostered)
You will have:
- +6 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Proven ability to understand and communicate technical and business concepts
- Ability to collaborate and build strong product delivered solutions
- Technical and programming skills in two or more of the following:
- Database scripting languages (i.e. MSSQL T-SQL / Oracle PLSQL)
- C# .NET
- JavaScript and Angular framework
- Demonstrate coding best practise against industry coding standards
- Working knowledge of SDLC methodologies
- Capable of using standard desktop software packages
- Personal responsibility and the ability to work in a team or autonomously
- Experience in the Airport / Airport Technology sector would be useful
