Aerospace Support Engineer
Preston - Hybrid Working
Salary £35-45K pa dependent on experience + excellent benefits
Our client, a global leader in their industry, have a requirement for an Aerospace and Support Engineer to join their team on a Permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be working as part of a team writing procedural and descriptive maintenance publications in order to deliver in line with Customer requirements. You will be utilising current authoring toolsets and developing future ways of working, utilising emerging technology for digital engineering and advanced information systems. In addition to this, you will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
Good IT Skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
An engineering background, preferably in an aerospace environment, although skills/experience from other sectors such as maritime, land or an appropriate production engineering/manufacturing environment would be considered
Have a working knowledge of engineering principles and the product lifecycle
Applicable work experience or HNC (or above) in a relevant STEM subjectDesirable:
Have a knowledge of Aerospace working practices
Experience of Standard Generalised Mark-Up Language (SGML), Extensible Mark-Up Language (XML) and S1000D
Experience/knowledge of technical authoring toolsets
As a Support Engineer working for this company you will be earning a basic salary of up to £45,000 and will be entitled to a fantastic range of company benefits.
