Fencer

Our well known client are seeking a skilled and experienced Fencer to join the team. As a Lead Fencer, you will be responsible for the installation of a variety of fencing systems on predominantly new build housing sites.
The systems you will be required to install are closeboard fencing, gates, sheds, ranch fencing, palisade fencing and hoarding.
Duties:
- Install and repair fences using a variety of construction techniques
- Measure and mark fence lines according to specifications
- Dig post holes and set posts securely in the ground
- Cut, shape, and install fence materials such as wood, vinyl, chain-link, or metal
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete fencing projects
- Ensure fences are level, straight, and structurally sound
- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out fence components
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Fencer or similar role
- Proficiency in working with various fencing materials such as wood, vinyl, chain-link, or metal
- Knowledge of construction techniques related to fence installation and repair
- Ability to read blueprints or fence plans is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues on-site
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials if required
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not required

· General organization of day to day operations.
· Physically fit and dexterous.
· Ability to operate the appropriate tools and equipment.
· Capacity to fulfill your duties independently an on time.
· Ability to direct a fencer working on your instructions as your nr.2
