Time-Served Manual Machinists with Mechanical Fitting Experience Job
Growing demand for mechanical engineering services from clients has led to our customer needing Manual Machine Shop Technicians with good experience of manual/conventional (non-CNC) Turning, Milling and Boring machines together with proven mechanical fitting skills. Additional experience of NC machining would be an advantage.
This is a fantastic opportunity for Skilled Engineers who with time served careers posess the rare ability to opperate machines manually to work for a company who will fully support you and continue to strive in the manual machining engineering sector.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
● Manufacture and repair of parts, using manual (non-CNC) lathes, milling & boring machines.
● Working overtime subject to workload and emergency service requirements.
● Provide cover when on call (one week in four/five).
● Mainly workshop based with occasional work on-site.
● Training in new techniques / skill sets as required.
Our company have a thriving mechanical engineering workshop in Liverpool, enabling us to provide a complete turnkey electro-mechanical service for our clients. Hours of work are 08.00 to 16.30 Mon - Fri, with overtime available, and ‘on-call’ one weekend in four/five during busy periods.
Night Shift (16.30 to 01.00) working is also available, either permanent or rotating days and nights.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications Minimum City and Guilds
Salary: £32,000.00 to £50,000.00 /year dependant on experience, performance, overtime and shift pattern
