Acorn by Synergie is currently working with an exciting client who are looking for experienced and qualified individuals to join there team based in Tewkesbury
Job Title: Panel Beater
They are looking for a skilled Panel Beater, Preferably with ATA but not mandatory.
Extensive experience is beneficial.
Main Duties include:
To repair or replace as necessary bodywork panels of damaged vehicles according to the instructions received or details on the job card. This will may include chassis and framework.
Qualified Staff - The main tasks will be completed without supervision and includes providing direct supervision to non-qualified technicians where applicable.
Non-Qualified Staff - The main tasks will be competed with direct supervision from a qualified Technician.
This will include:
Dismantle and repair damaged vehicles by either repairing damaged panels or by replacing those beyond repair. All equipment used, to include jigs, fixtures and welding equipment, will be operated as per the instructions, level of qualification and to the prescribed safety standards.
Adhere to the manufacturer's literature and modification bulletins as appropriate to the repair and to the replacement of chassis and panel work. Where appropriate attend training courses to enable you to be updated on new techniques and produce development.
Handle all vehicles with due care and attention ensuring that customer care/satisfaction is maintained at all times, keeping the Company's tools and equipment safe and in a clean, workable condition.
To be aware of and adhere to all the Housekeeping and Health and Safety regulations and policies applicable to your position and working environment.
