We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Teacher to join a diverse and vibrant school on a part time basis working 3 days per week.
We are looking for an inspiring and innovative teacher who can motivate pupils and help them to reach the highest possible standards.
This is a job share that will see you with joint responsibilities alongside the other Year 2 teacher.
Your key responsibilities as a Year 2 Teacher;
Planning, delivering and assessing exciting, engaging lessons that are designed to meet the needs of all learners.
Developing schemes of work and lesson plans that support and challenge all pupils.
Assessing and marking pupils' work to ensure it meets the highest standards.
Understanding National Curriculum objectives and planning appropriate and exciting activities.
Supporting and monitoring pupil progress, including the setting of achievable targets
Liaising with parents and carers over pupil achievement and welfare.
Working closely with colleagues to create a positive learning environment.
Attending staff meetings and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions when required.Other than being an exceptional teacher, we also require you to
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience of teaching across the UK Key Stage One Curriculum
Have excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
Have outstanding communication skills and the ability to nurture a positive learning environment.
