As part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of FP&A to join our team in London, UK.
Reporting to the CFO, the key responsibilities will be as follows:
- Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making at both the executive and operational levels
- Primary owner of Board reporting for finance and sales organisations with a focus on processes and reporting around Bookings, Revenue and SaaS metrics
- Develop and maintain a robust financial model to support business growth and profitability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance and drive operational efficiency
- Identify and communicate risks and opportunities, and recommend actionable solutions to achieve financial objectives
- Drive process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function
- Communicate business performance to key stakeholders including employees, investors and the Board of Directors
- Provide data-driven insights, facilitate decision making and influence strategy and resource allocation through monthly business reviews, ad hoc analyses, scenario planning and financial modeling
- Provide and own the framework for the company’s monthly rolling forecast for the current year and projection for 2-3 years forward while recommending opportunities to grow and scale
- Use NetSuite to perform quantitative analysis of operational and financial data and to identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization
- Support department leaders with financial insights that result in better decision-making.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA a plus
- 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a SaaS or technology company
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently deliver concise, well-structured reports and communications, sometimes with a complex and difficult message, to a variety of audiences
- Experience in a subscription revenue software business
- Experience working in a VC/PE environment
- Familiarity with NetSuite and financial forecasting software
- Applicants should have a robust background in managing financial strategies, forecasting and budgeting within dynamic environments
- Effective team member who has the ability to work on own initiative or collaboratively with colleagues, ensuring consistency of practice.
