Pay rate: £14.00 per hour (weekly pay)
Shift Pattern: 21.00 to 9.00 (7 nights per week)
Location: Gainsborough
Requirements: UK driver’s license & own vehicle.
Unfortunately we cannot provide VISA sponsorship and we do not hire on a relocation basis, you must currently be based in the Gainsborough area.
We are thrilled to offer a rewarding opportunity for an outgoing person that will interact with a 2.5-year-old little girl, she does have very complex clinical interventions but still a little girl that wants love and attention. This girl requires tracheostomy and ventilation support overnight.
This is a complex role, therefore applicants should be confident/have some experience with at least some of the above.
Key Responsibilities
Support Workers cover all manners of support for others – from companionship and days out, to personal care and housekeeping. The main responsibilities are below:
Trachy care and management
PEG care – feeds via feed machine
Medication administration
Personal care including pad changes and Skin integrity
CPAP via vent and Oxygen administration and management
Physiotherapy
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Experience with Trachy paediatric.
Enteral feeding.
Childhood development
Complex care
CPAP
Essential:
Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
Empathy, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals in need of support
Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Willingness to undergo additional training and development as required
