* Rate of Pay: £18+ Per Hour up to £26 per hour

* ASSESSMENT NEEDED (1hour) for insurance reasons.
* Temporary Contract
* Hours of Work: 18.15pm / 21.00pm starts – Finish
* Availability Required: Weekend shifts (Saturday / Sunday)

We are on the lookout for a Category 1, HGV1, LGV1, CAT C+E, CLASS 1 Trunk / General Haulage / Shunter Driver’s to join our team, to work on behalf of our client based in Portsmouth.

Roles and Responsibilities - Category 1, HGV1, LGV1, CAT C+E, CLASS 1 Trunk / General Haulage / Shunter Driver’s:
* Driving HGV1 articulated gearshift lorries;
* Keeping all paperwork and electronic records updated;
* Maintaining an accurate record of break times according to WTD regulations;
* Adhering to both agencies and client’s regulations and procedures;
Skills and Experience - Category 1, HGV1, LGV1, CAT C+E, CLASS 1 Trunk / General Haulage / Shunter Driver’s:
* Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Must hold a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card)
* Must hold a Digital Tachograph card
* Must not have more than 6 points on the licence
* Must have at least 6 months to a year of experience of HGV1 driving
* Must have a good working knowledge of UK motorway road network and WTD regulations.
* Must be able to work under pressure and fast paced.
* Must have own Sat Nav
