Reporting to the Site Technical Manager, the purpose of the Quality Assurance Manager is to manage the day to day activities of the Technical team to ensure Dairygold delivers a quality, authentic, legal and food safe product, in line with customer specification.
Key responsibilities for this role are:
* Manage the QA team to ensure compliance to Legality, Quality Systems and HACCP Principles.
* Support the development of the QMS to meet customer, company and regulatory bodies.
* Ensure the HACCP system is being followed throughout the site and colleagues are challenged on CCP’s and attend HACCP meetings where required.
* Maintain and develop a robust non-conformance reporting system.
* Ensure calibration, validation and verification is completed as per schedule.
* Conduct internal audits.
* Oversee site pest control visits and ensure that all actions raised are followed up within required timescales.
* Manage and conduct all product and environmental sampling plans.
* Conduct Technical risk assessment to control food safety risks.
* Lead site audits/visits from customers and accreditation bodies as required, including site tour and QMS review.
