Marcon Construction is an interior fit out contractor specialising in Commercial, Educational and Healthcare fit outs in and around the London, Essex and Buckinghamshire areas. Our projects range in value from £5 million to £10 million. due to our conyinued growth our company is currently seeking a Senior Site Manager to join our growing team.
The senior site manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. They work closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure that all projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and to the highest quality. The senior site manager is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all people working on the project site.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of site managers, supervisors, and laborers
- Develop and implement site safety protocols and procedures
- Monitor and control project budgets
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractor activities
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management
- Supervise and train junior site managers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure project specifications are met
- Manage relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any construction issues
Qualifications
- SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, First Aid, Asbestos Awareeness
- Proven experience as a site manager or supervisor
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work long hours and weekends as needed
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
