Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of SEND students? Zest is currently recruiting on behalf of a school in Solihull for a SEND Classroom Support Assistant to join on a full-time basis to start as soon as possible.
The successful SEND Classroom Support Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting students with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
Responsibilities of the SEND Classroom Support Assistant role:
* Providing one-to-one or small group support to students with profound and multiple learning difficulties
* Assisting the classroom teacher in implementing strategies to address individual student needs and promote a positive learning atmosphere
* Supporting students in developing social skills, emotional regulation, and self-esteem
* Collaborating with other members of the school staff, including SENCOs, to create IEPs

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
