The Role:nThe successful candidate will be required to assist the Managing Director and management team in the design, administration, servicing and commissioning of high end construction projects including specialist leisure and lifestyle projects including swimming pools, spas, saunas, steam rooms, cinema rooms, games rooms, gymnasiums etc. in and around London & the South EastnWhilst specific experience in our sector is not a requirement, we would prefer candidates to have previous & relevant work experience in the commercial construction sector and/or high end residential construction.nThis role is varied and rewarding and remuneration will reflect the experience and abilities of the successful candidate.nThis is a critical role in the company which involves assisting in the procurement of materials, management of site operations and handover of projects.nThe successful candidate would assist the design team & be the clients initial point of contact until project hand-over, dealing with day to day site management and assist in project design.nTypically, this would involve 2-3 days per week in the office and the remaining days attending project sites for meetings with our team and other contractor’s, architects and engineers.
Requirements:nThe Candidate will need to meet the following criteria:nCan conduct site surveys & record details / dimensions accuratelynDevelop schemes, reporting directly to the Construction DirectornMin 2 years’ experience in the construction sectornMust be competent and efficient in the use of transcribing AutoCAD drawingsnExperience in Procurement of materials and logging Project CostingsnHave excellent numerical ability and be computer literate & competent with Microsoft Office PackagenHave good communication skills and be able to work alone on your own initiative and as part of a teamnBe located near Rayleigh, Essex and prepared to travel throughout London, Essex and the home counties.nTo conduct themselves professionally / respectfully at all timesnHold a full driving license and a valid CSCS cardnBe CIS registered with a UTR number
Remuneration:nSalary will be on a sub-contractors basis (CIS) and dependent on abilities and experience.nPlease forward your CV .
