Bodyshop Receptionist
Location: Droitwich, Worcestershire
Shift: Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
We are looking for a professional and approachable Receptionist to join our client’s bodyshop team in Droitwich. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
Role Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist customers both in person and over the phone, providing information and updates on repairs.
* Schedule vehicle bookings and manage drop-offs and pick-ups to maintain efficient workflow in the bodyshop.
* Handle customer and insurer queries, passing important details to the workshop team as necessary.
* Arrange vehicle recoveries when required.
* Carry out administrative tasks such as processing invoices for parts, excess charges, and sales.
* Regularly update customers on the status of their repairs.
* Perform ad-hoc tasks to support the bodyshop team.
Role Requirements:
* Familiarity with Bodyshop Management Systems (BMS).
* Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
* 3 to 5 years’ experience in the accident repair industry or a fast-paced business environment.
* Basic knowledge of motor vehicles and the repair process.
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask in a busy setting.
* Outstanding communication skills to effectively support the team and interact with customers.
* Knowledge of BSI standards and bodyshop administration is a bonus.
