Secondary IT Teacher- Boston

Milk Education are recruiting for an IT Teacher for a Secondary School in Boston, Lincolnshire to work on a long-term temp to perm basis. In this role you will be teaching small groups of 4 students at one time. This is an SEMH school, who prides itself on promoting positive mental health and wellbeing to the entire school community.

Role & Responsibilities:n- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculumn- Teach IT to students using various instructional methodsn- Create a positive and inclusive learning environmentn- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedbackn- Utilize laboratory resources to enhance learning experiencesn- Provide additional support to students with special education needsn- Incorporate real-world examples and applications into lessonsn- Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills in studentsn- Use behavior management techniques to maintain a productive classroom environmentn- Offer tutoring and mentoring to students who require extra assistance

Non-negotiables:n- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (Master's degree preferred)n- Qualified Teacher Statusn- Previous experience teaching IT at the secondary level is desirablen- Strong knowledge of IT concepts and principlesn- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenn- Proficient in using technology for teaching purposesn- Experience in mentoring and guiding students in their academic journeynIf you are passionate about IT and dedicated to helping students succeed, we encourage you to apply for this position.
