Data Warehouse Manager


Location: Remote

Duration: 3-Month Initially

IR35 Status: Outside IR35


We are looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Manager who has several solid years commercial experience of establishing and running a data warehouse (ideally within a private sector). Someone who understands what is required - agility, professionalism, quick turnaround, sticking to dates, escalating to business when needed. Someone who can turn the service around and help mentor the in-house team too. You will also need a broad understanding of what data programmes normally look at to help inform the direction.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the data warehouse and data integration platforms
  • Collaborate with systems and process owners, and departments to gather data requirements and ensure data quality
  • Develop functional specifications and system design specifications for data-related projects
  • Manage data assets, including BI reports, dashboards, workshops, and datasets in the Power BI service
  • Ensure all tools are underpinned by high-quality documentation and effective testing, with changes and updates managed in line with relevant processes
  • Work closely with relevant teams within professional services and IT services to ensure required data sources are available for business intelligence purposes
  • Encourage data stewardship to support resource utilisation, drive operational efficiency, and build confidence in risk management
