We are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer to join a market-leading contractor on a major highways project based near Yeovilton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the successful delivery of a key infrastructure project. You will be based on site in Yeovilton 5 days per week for the first 4 weeks, with an opportunity to do hybrid work after this. Standard working days are 8 hours with the opportunity to work overtime (up to 10 or 12). This position falls INSIDE IR35.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
·Produce approximately 700 as-built drawings and redline as-builts.
·Collaborate closely with the design team based on-site to ensure accurate and timely completion of all drawing requirements.
·Interpret and translate design specifications into detailed drawings, ensuring compliance with project standards.
·Assist in resolving any design-related issues that arise during the project.
·Maintain clear communication with the team to ensure project milestones are met.
Requirements
 
·Proven experience as an AutoCAD Technician, preferably within highways or similar infrastructure projects.
·Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software.
·Ability to produce high-quality as-built and redline drawings with precision.
·Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
·Attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
