Up to £40000 per year (dependent on experience)
We are recruiting for a company that has been established for over 40 years and is in the process of expanding its team. They provide manufacturing and precision engineering services to some of the world's leading companies.
They specialise in precision engineering, offering a broad range of in-house capabilities with a commitment to excellence in quality and service.
They are looking for a permanent CNC Turners/Millers Setter to produce components to drawings.
Experience:
* Previous experience of using CNC lathes/millers in a similar role
* Ability to change and use programming language for setting and Alterations
* Have worked with various materials (aluminium, steel, etc)
Main Responsibilities:
* Machining turned/milled parts
* Altering programs where needed
* Quality control and inspection of the parts and materials
* Ensuring that all Health & Safety procedures and in-house duties are fulfilled
* Ability to identify faults and problem solving using own initiative
* Maintenance where necessary, refilling coolant and general area housekeeping
