The Role:
As the Interim Deputy Home Manager, you will assist the Home Manager in the overall management of the care home, with a particular focus on delivering exceptional care to residents with complex dementia needs. You will support the team in maintaining high standards of care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a nurturing environment for both residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in leading and managing the care home staff, promoting a supportive and collaborative environment.
Support the development and implementation of individualised care plans for residents with complex dementia.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies.
Help drive quality improvement initiatives to enhance care and operational efficiency.
Provide guidance and mentorship to care staff, fostering professional development.
Address issues and concerns promptly to ensure a safe and positive environment for residents and staff.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience in a leadership role within a care home or similar setting, preferably with a focus on dementia care.
Strong leadership and management skills.
In-depth understanding of dementia care and best practices.
Excellent knowledge of care regulations and compliance.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and resource management
