Salary: £23,400 per annum plus bonuses for attendance and sleep ins
Bonus: Attendance bonus post-probation
Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Therapeutic Parent Residential Support Workers. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and therapeutic support to children and young people in our residential homes. You will play a critical role in creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment that promotes healing and development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day care, support, and supervision to children and young people with EBD, SEMH, and trauma.
* Implement person-centred care plans and therapeutic strategies in line with the recovery model.
* Support children and young people in developing social skills, emotional regulation, and positive behaviours.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
* Build trusting relationships with children and young people to facilitate their emotional and psychological well-being.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, social workers, and educational staff.
* Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements.
Requirements:
* Experience working in a Residential Children's Home is essential.
* NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (preferred).
* Valid driving license.
* Strong understanding of emotional and behavioural difficulties, social emotional mental health, and trauma.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.
