A leading engineering firm are on the lookout for an experienced CNC Programmer to join their dynamic team based in Burnley.
This role involves the development and implementation of programs used on CNC machine tools, ensuring efficient and effective production and maintenance of new and existing programmes.

What will you be doing as a CNC Programmer?
* Creating, implementing, and maintaining programs for various manufacturing processes using CAM packages including SmartCAM and GibbsCAM
* Using Creo (ProEngineer) to produce programs for complex machined profiles
* Developing methodologies for various manufacturing processes
* Ensuring all routings are accurate and cost-effective
* Estimating product costs for new work and supporting engineering activities
What do you need?
* A HNC qualification in Mechanical Engineering
* Full-time served apprenticeship or equivalent qualification with significant industrial experience
* Proficiency in CAM software and CNC programming
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings, geometrical tolerancing, and dimensioning
* Experience with engineering materials including stainless steel and exotic materials like Inconel and Titanium
