Position: 1-1 Care Worker for Child Location: Birmingham Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one care and support to a child with specific needs, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Assist with daily activities, including personal care, feeding, and mobility.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and the child's family.
Engage the child in stimulating and therapeutic activities to promote their development and well-being.
Monitor and report on the child's progress and any changes in their condition.
Maintain a positive and supportive relationship with the child and their family.
Ensure a safe and nurturing environment at all times.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs.
Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to adapt to the child's changing needs.
First aid certification is desirable.
