Data Quality Lead - Insurance, Data Validation, SQL

Seeking a Data Quality Lead to join a leading London Market Insurer in a dynamic team and lead initiatives aimed at enhancing data quality, compliance, and efficient data utilisation. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in driving the development of processes and standards to elevate data quality the organisation. By collaborating closely with stakeholders at all levels, you'll leverage your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking to support and advance the organisation's data-driven objectives.

In this role, you'll find yourself at the forefront of shaping the data landscape and will be fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity to work across the business to identify data utilisation and quality challenges, establish a robust framework and translate them into actionable data validation rules to ensure company-wide data integrity.

Responsibilities:Conduct thorough root cause analyses of data issues, devising preventative strategies and streamlining processes for enhanced data management.Implement data validation rules within Data quality tools, adhering to enterprise standards and requirementsOversee the resolution of data validation rule failures according to SLAs, facilitating timely follow-ups and verification of fixesCollaborate with data consumers to navigate risk acceptance processes, understanding and managing risk tolerance levelsDevelop and maintain dashboards summarising data quality metrics, trends, and improvementsRequirements:Expertise in data quality management, including proficiency in data validation rule implementation and data profilingStrong communication skills for seamless collaboration with senior technology and business stakeholdersComprehensive understanding of data quality's significance and its impact on business objectives and risk managementStrong problem-solving capabilities, considering all facets of the insurance process to formulate strategies for enhancing data quality enterprise-wideTechnical proficiency in SQL, PowerBI, and DQpro
