We are seeking a strong Product Business Analyst to work with our team to deliver products that innovate and evolve the insurance industry. You will take the lead on bridging the gap between clients and our technical teams to build innovative applications to revolutionise the way Lockton transact business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain product roadmap and priorities for the success of the productnCreate system and business process analysisnGather business requirements, identifying pain points and validate solutions with businessnCreate, maintain & communicate requirements to the business analysis, user experience, user interface and development teamsnGather and analyze insights from client feedback, competitors, peers and the insurance industrynSupport the creation of the backlognPrioritize backlog features for development sprintsnHelp organize sprint reviewsnParticipate in sprint planning sessionsnHost requirements gathering workshops and driving out tangible requirementsnBuild and maintain relationships with clients, executive owner, and team membersnGather and document user stories that clearly articulate the business systems function and requirementsnCollaborate with communications, sales, account management and support to ensure clients needs are being met and used as an input to prioritize activities to build a strong productnShare client feedback with the teamnOther responsibilities as needed to build and deliver on the product visionnSupport Senior Product Manager when required
QUALIFICATIONS
Post-secondary degree or significant equivalent experiencen3+ years’ experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis or Software EngineeringnExperience in the insurance industry or financial industry a huge assetnPrevious experience working with agile development methodologiesnClear understanding of product lifecycle and ceremoniesnExperience working within Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence
