Enva is a full-service and leading provider of recycling and resource recovery solutions, with locations across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Due to continuous growth, we have an opportunity for a Transport Debrief Planner to join our Transport Team.

Transport Debrief Planner – The Role:

To be part of the transport team and contribute and assist with the smooth running of the daily transport operation, including debriefing all drivers daily, including those on nights out, for up to date and accurate information regarding all collections carried out that day. To be the first point of contact for driver enquiries to deal with them swiftly and/or to escalate these enquiries to the appropriate person/department as necessary.

Transport Debrief Planner – Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all drivers download Tachograph cards daily or end of weekly shift if tramping.
• Check all driver paperwork to ensure accuracy and signatures are correct.
• Enter all driver non-collection reports and record number raised daily.
• Monitor weekly the tank telemetry system and advise transport planners of any requiring action by way of ‘date request’.
• Working with the Customer Experience department review customer orders, priority order management and compliance with customer SLA’s.
• Monitor and action the ‘short frequency schedule’ daily to ensure collections scheduled are not missed, includes moving on jobs when required.
• Assist transport planner to manage ‘Stop, Call, Wait’ calls.
• Support with general transport admin tasks.

Transport Debrief Planner – Knowledge, Training, Experience, Technical and Personal Skills:
Required

• Good geographical knowledge of mainland UK.
• Experience of planning using automated routing TMS software such as Paragon, Optrak or similar.
• Customer service experience / experience of meeting customer expectations.
• An understanding of Operator Licence obligations and regulations.
• Experience of producing KPIs and reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong telephone manner.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Positive and motivated with flexible and adaptable attitude.
• Problem solving and solution focussed ability.
• Well organised and self-disciplined with the ability to work quickly and calmly under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective and positive working relationships within and outside of the department.
• A flexible attitude to the team’s work, including a willingness to reprioritise and undertake additional tasks if required.
• Strong PC and technical knowledge and skills with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft packages including Word and Excel.

Desirable

• Experience working within waste industry or logistics operations most desirable, however, alternate industries with relevant experience will be considered.
