Requirements Gathering:
- Engage with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements.
- Conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops to understand needs.
- Create comprehensive user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
Documentation:
- Analyse and document current business processes using visual tools like flowcharts and diagrams.
- Develop a data mapping framework and define the data dictionary.
- Propose optimized workflows to improve efficiency.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Prepare clear and concise documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Facilitate workshops, presentations, and meetings to validate and disseminate information.
- Collaborate closely with development and test teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
Analytical Support:
- Conduct gap and impact analysis to identify and address discrepancies.
- Support the creation of business cases and feasibility studies.
Documentation Management:
- Maintain documentation standards and ensure the accuracy and relevance of all documentation.
- Regularly review and update materials to reflect changes.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on requirements gathering and process documentation.
- Proven experience in conducting requirements gathering sessions and documenting business processes.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in documentation and process mapping tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and other relevant software.
- Ability to create detailed, clear, and concise documentation.
- Familiarity with business process modelling techniques and methodologies.
