A well-respected Catholic boys' school in Hillingdon seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join its dedicated team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young men within a supportive and faith-centered learning environment.
What You'll Do:
  • Provide individual and small group support to students across all year groups, tailored to their specific needs and learning styles.
  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging and informative lessons, adhering to the National Curriculum and Catholic school ethos.
  • Assist with the preparation and marking of lessons, assessments, and other classroom materials.
  • Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students, fostering their academic and personal development.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes Catholic values and respect for all.
  • Supervise students during break times and extracurricular activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • May assist with specific learning programs or initiatives within the school.

  • Holds a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, GCSEs in core subjects).
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to Catholic values and a desire to work within a faith-based environment.
  • Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Maintains a positive and patient approach, fostering a sense of security and belonging for students.
  • Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
