You'll join a small independent consultancy, specialising in synthesising and presenting evidence to support market access for new healthcare interventions.
The Role:
Senior Statistician
You'll develop and critique statistical analyses for economic evaluations of healthcare interventions and undertake several different types of statistical analyses for clients within the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities:nPreparation of study protocols, including statistical analysis plans, specifying table shells and figuresnDesigning and running treatment comparisons, such as network meta-analysisnDesigning and executing complex survival analysisnPreparation of datasets for analysis and undertaking analyses as detailed in the analysis plannQuality assurance review of statistical models developed both within the company and for clientsnInvolvement in client meetings to provide updates on methods, progress, and results of data analysisnReport preparation and presentation to clients
Requirements:nBSc, MSc, PhD in medical statistics, statistics, or similarnExperienced in R, STATA, and Microsoft ExcelnExperience working with patient-level data or large individual-level data setsnAbility to implement survival analysis, generalised linear models, and multilevel models and to draw inferences between parameters and clinical endpointsnFamiliarity with analysing HES, CPRD
